For automotive importers, distributors, and dealer groups

It is already happening on WhatsApp.

Somewhere in your network, a salesperson is filming a car on their own phone for a customer who asked to see it. It works. You just cannot route it, see it, or count it. Oktium puts that call on your site, routed to the right dealership, logged against the enquiry.

A salesperson stands beside a car in a showroom, holding a phone toward it.
A car is a thing people need to look at. Put the conversation where your network can see it.

Which dealership answered yesterday's enquiries?

Not how many enquiries the site produced. Which ones were answered, by whom, how quickly, and what happened next.

If you can answer that across your whole network this morning, this page has little to offer you.

01 / The route

The call arrives somewhere you chose.

A customer on the brand or dealership site taps the Face2 button. The call opens in their browser, with no app and no account.

It routes to the dealership that should have it — by territory, by model line, by stock, by whatever rule you set — and to a salesperson who is actually free. They walk to the car and show it. The customer sees the paint in daylight, the boot space, the wear on the used one.

The appointment gets booked inside the call. The enquiry, the dealership, the salesperson, and the outcome are logged against it.

  1. 01A Face2 button on the model or dealership page opens the conversation in the customer's browser.
  2. 02Your routing rule chooses the dealership, the model context, and someone who is available.
  3. 03The seller shows the car and books the appointment while the customer is still there.

02 / The alternatives

Against the four things your network already does.

  1. 01

A contact form and a callback.

Two days later, at a moment the customer did not choose, by which time they have been to somebody else's showroom.

  2. 02

    A phone call.

Fine for opening hours and finance terms. Useless for a car, which is a thing people need to look at.

  3. 03

    WhatsApp from a personal phone.

Effective, and entirely outside your control. No routing, no record, no brand consistency, no attribution, and the customer's number sitting in a salesperson's personal device.

  4. 04

A video platform the dealer has to adopt.

Needs training, licences, and dealer buy-in before the first call. Adoption across a network is the part that fails.

  5. 05

    Oktium.

The customer opens the call in a browser, with no app to install. The salesperson answers through OKTIUM 4B in a browser, or uses the OKTIUM 4B iOS app while walking the forecourt.

03 / Your arithmetic

Your own numbers.

Take what you spend bringing a qualified visitor to the model pages. Take the share that submit an enquiry. Take the share of those that become a showroom appointment.

The gap between the second and third figure is what this addresses. You know all three. We do not, and we are not going to guess them in a chart.

Who this fits

Worth your time if:

  • you fund brand traffic and hand enquiries to a network you do not staff
  • your cars are considered purchases that people want to see before committing
  • used or specification-variable stock is a meaningful part of the business
  • you would like the calls your salespeople already make to be visible

Probably not, if:

  • you run a single site and can already see everything
  • your network will not adopt anything that changes how enquiries are handled, in which case fix that first
  • your model is fixed-price and fully online with no showroom step

04 / Privacy

What gets recorded, and who can see it.

The customer and seller connect directly through secure P2P WebRTC. No media server sits between them.

Calls are not recorded by default. If your business needs recordings or transcripts, both are available as an enhancement.

05 / Start small

One market, or one model line.

Not a network programme. Pick a market, or the model line where people ask the most questions, and a handful of dealerships that already answer the phone well.

  • 01Face2 widget on the relevant model pages, styled to the brand
  • 02routing rules by territory, model, or stock, with availability
  • 03appointment booking inside the call
  • 04per-dealership call records against each enquiry, so the pilot answers the first question for itself

SCOPE THE PILOT

Choose one market. We will map the first route with you.

Tell us where the network loses the chance to show the car while interest is live. We will show you what a Face2 route looks like for that market.
